Cage warriors 82 betting tips

Europe’s leading and longest-running mixed martial arts promotion Cage Warriors is back and this time with Betsafe as their official betting partner. Former champions of the Irish-owned promotion include Michael Bisping, Dan Hardy, and Conor McGregor. Each card gives fans an opportunity to see up-and-coming talent, veterans, and future stars of the UFC.

The fighting pride of Liverpool Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett will make his much anticipated return to the cage in the main event at Cage Warriors 82 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on April 1. Make sure to start watching this event from the beginning as the evening kicks-off with with two big men, as heavyweights Cian “Kong” Erraught (1-1) and Shawn Kenny (2-0) clash. Undefeated featherweights Scotland’s Paul McBain (3-0) and Lloyd Manning (2-0) are up next. Manning who represented Ireland in the amateur MMA world championships was impressive in his Cage Warriors debut in November with a 50 second TKO.

Another O must go, as Englishmen Ross Houston (4-0) and Dylan McLoughlin (3-0) square-off in their returns to Cage Warriors. A catchweight fight of 72.5 kg will see Perry Goodwin (6-4) and Ellis Hampson (6-3-1) battle.

Leeroy Barnes (16-16-1) turned pro in 2007 at Cage Warriors and he will bring his 33 fight experience since then back into the cage Saturday night. The Liverpool Academy MMA fighter will face France’s Johan Romming (9-5-1) in the final prelim bout.

Lacey Schuckman (11-9) v Molly McCann (4-1).

A rare female battle will start off the main card as American Lacey Schuckman (11-9) makes her trip across the pond to face Molly McCann (4-1). “Meatball” is on a three fight winning streak and looks to make a name for herself by beating the former Invicta FC fighter.

Frantz Slioa (4-0) v Dean Trueman (7-3)

Sweden’s Frantz Slioa (4-0) became known for his success on the UFC reality show The Ultimate Fighter. The featherweight is back after a long layoff to face the bearded Englishman Dean Trueman (7-3) who won by KO at CWFC 79 in just 12 seconds. Don’t miss this showdown.

Tommy Quinn (6-3) v Lee Chadwick (21-13-1)

Tommy Quinn (6-3) needs to get back on the winning path after losing his last two bouts. The Irishman will face long-time fight veteran Lee Chadwick (21-13-1) who has not fought in the Cage Warriors promotion since his pro MMA debut in 2006.

Vaughan Lee (14-12-1) v Nathaniel Wood (9-3).

Vaughan Lee (14-12-1) was once a star on the rise, getting two wins in the UFC’s Octagon back in 2013-2014. Now the 34-year-old Birmingham fighter is on a three fight losing streak and looking to get his career back on track against Nathaniel Wood (9-3). “The Prospect” has won three of his last four, and has a big opportunity in front of him Saturday night.

Paddy Pimblett (13-1-1) v Nad Narmiani (9-2).

The hugely popular Liverpudlian star will put his Cage Warriors featherweight world title on the line in the main event. The evening is all about Paddy Pimblett (13-1-1) who looks to defend his belt for the second time as he takes on fellow Englishman Nad Narmiani (9-2).

The 22-year-old Pimblett is a star on the rise and has become the face of Cage Warriors since capturing the promotion’s gold when he knocked out French veteran Johnny Frachey for the vacant title in Liverpool last September.

“I won the title in Liverpool, so there’s absolutely no way I’m going to lose it here.” says the champ.

Narimani is on a two fight winning streak, with two stoppages, and will be a tough test for “The Baddy”. The challengers only loss in the the past four years has been to Cage Warriors featherweight champ Alex Enlund, which was a close decision loss back in 2014.
