Day one of the festival speed was over in a flash but that means that day 2 is here! The conditions will certainly suit some of the runners more with the ground expected to be good to soft. The Sussex Stakes takes centre stage with the impressive Ribchester taking on Churchill which will be a battle to savour! Rupert Bell’s Goodwood Tips Day 2

The Qatar Sussex Stakes which takes center stage on day two of Goodwood attracts a world class field, pays out one million in prize money and is the one of the highlights of the flat race season. The Group 1 race covers 1 mile and was previously won by Frankel, while in 2016 it was Gurkha that came through the winning post in first place.
