GODSENT Signs Brazilian CS:GO Project

It’s official – as GODSENT’s CS:GO title sponsor, Betsafe is proud to announce that the team has signed a new, all-Brazilian CS:GO long-term project for 2021 and onwards.

Meet the team

This new lineup consists of a mix of experienced superstars and the most promising young Brazilian talent in the world.

The project is managed by the now retired legendary coach Ricardo “Dead” Sinigaglia, and Epitacio “Taco” de Melo will be the IGL with Felps as second shot caller. The coach of the team is Olavo “cky” Napoleão, who most recently coached Team One. The roster is fulfilled by the three young superstars Latto and B4rtin, who both are 18 years old, and Dumau, who is 17. 

About TACO

  • He is from Recife, Pernambuco, the fourth-largest city in Brazil.
  • TACO’s nickname is a play on his first name, and most likely does not in fact refer to the Mexican dish; but rather to a nickname his aunt gave him when he was a child.
  • Named by FalleN as a potential breakout player of 2017.
  • Is a founding board member of the Counter-Strike Professional Players’ Association (CSPPA).

About felps

  • Named by fer and coldzera as a potential breakout player of 2017.
  • Was ranked the 1st best player of 2020 in Brazil by DRAFT5.

About latto

  • Was ranked the 12th best player of 2020 in Brazil by DRAFT5.

About b4rtiN

  • Placed 1st in ESEA Season 35: Premier Division – North America

In order to retrieve the players to this project, GODSENT had to activate four individual buyouts for the release from other teams and all players have been signed to minimum 3-year contracts. The team will play its first competitions as GODSENT in late January in Europe.

This team already has the potential to be a tier one contender in 2021 and in the long term this project will become the best and most skilled team in the world and CSGO history.
